OPTC 2020: Photoscience

The Digital Single Lens Reflex camera (DSLR) is studied as an example of a modern digital imaging system. Modern camera features and functions are explored and compared to the original (film) cameras. Students use a DSLR to capture and present photographs in lab projects that lead them through technical functions as well as artistic presentation. Lecture/laboratory. Prerequisite: Eligible to take ENGL 1010. Lab Fee.
